Yo welcome to the Native American Community at DA. This is a site for deviants who happen to take special pride in their Native American (aka First Peoples) ancestry, as well as for deviations contributed by nice deviants which reflect Native American tradition and history.

Native Americans are spread out throughout the Americas, and have been since time immemorial. As such, we have had a very colorful, if bloody, history wherever our people settled, be it in the Great Plains of the United States and Canada, or the jungle highlands of Central America and southern Mexico, or in the lofty elevations of the Andes along the length of western South America's coast.

Thus, as Native Americans in all parts of the New World are becoming part of the digital horizon, it is likely that there are many members here at deviantart.com (DA) who happen to be of that ancestry.

What this community serves for them is the same as many other clubs and communities at DA serve for their nation or ethnicity.

In fact, ~Native-American has a sister club, ~African-Diaspora which is a community for deviants who are of African and African-American ancestry. We encourage every applicable deviant who is interested to visit ~ African-Diaspora today and become a member.

If you want to become a member, its not necessarily based on your ancestry, although it would be just as good. If you can contribute artwork to this club, then that will make you a member.
